Several wonderful campgrounds have various spots to set up a tent and enjoy the great outdoors. If you really enjoy roughing it this is the way to go. Many of the campsites have other attractions available for your convenience. Enjoy a campfire and roasting marshmallows, and then sleeping your tent with all the comforts that nature has to offer.

Recreational Vehicle Camping:

The Florida Keys has some beautiful places for you to camp and enjoy the conveniences you have in your own RV. This may not be as exciting as sleeping out under the stars, but it is still the best way to get away and have a wonderful time. When you bring along your motor home you can also bring more with you than you can with a tent. Many recreational vehicles are equipped with a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge, Inc.

Bluewater Key RV Resort

Bluewater Key RV resort is located in Key West, Florida on US-1 at MP-14.5. This RV resort is only for RV’s and has no other camping available. All rates do include power, cable TV, water and sewer. Only four people are allowed per RV. They allow pets and have 80 private sites for you to choose from. The recreation that is offered is deep sea and backcountry fishing, boating, and diving. Boyd's Key West Campground, Inc.

Boyd’s Key West Campground is located on US 1-mile marker 5, follow signs on 3rd street. It has 38 tents sites with a few in shaded areas, some with gravel, grass or dirt. Other amenities include back-ins, modem hu/office, CATV. Recreational options include swimming, diving, boating, skiing, heated pool, and saltwater fishing. Breezy Hill RV Resort

Breezy Hill RV Resort is in Pompano Beach. The easiest way to get there is by taking I-95 to 36, then take Sample Road to 3rd Avenue and then go left to 48th street. This campground is for RV camping only; they do not offer any other type of camping. They also do not allow Pop-ups or pets. Amenities they do offer include handicap access, a few side by side hook-ups, dump station, FAC restrooms and showers, laundry, public phone, 2 heated pools, shuffleboard, horseshoes, recreation hall, and planned activities. Calusa Camp Resort

Calusa is located in Key Largo, Florida; you can get there by traveling fifty miles south of Miami on US 1 at mile marker 101.5. It is equipped for RV camping and has 43 tent sites and 197 gravel sites. Some sites are shaded and they have accommodations for larger rigs. Florida Keys RV Resort

Florida Keys RV Resort is located in Key Largo and the directions are going south on the Florida turnpike all the way to the end to US 1 South Key Largo, mile marker 106. They offer 113 total spaces for RV’s and do have 10 tent sites available. Some sites are shaded. Gold Coaster RV Resort & Manufactured Home Community

Located in Homestead, Florida this is where many people come to spend the entire winter. This campground is for only RV’s and offers much for everyone. They have 250 full hookups site, pull thru’s, dump station, group facilities, laundry, heated pool and hot tub, row boats, canoes, and kayaks. Jabour's Trailer Court

Jabour’s Trailer Court is located in Key West, Florida directions are easy, just follow US 1 take a right onto Palm Avenue Bridge to Eaton Street and then take another right onto Elizabeth Street. This campground has 20 tent sites, 74 full hook-ups, plus cabin and trailer rentals. Amenities include back-ins, a few side-by-side hook-ups, CATV, dump station, FAC showers, restrooms, and a public telephone. Christ of the Deep, Pennekamp Park

JOHN PENNEKAMP COREL REEF STATE PARK

John Pennekamp coral reef state park is very easy to find it is on US 1 at mile marker 102.5 just a bit north of Key Largo, Florida. It has 47 camping sites for either tents or RV’s. It has offers restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. No pets are allowed in the park. This campground and park was the first undersea park in the United States. There are many unique and wonderful activities to enjoy while camping in this state park, which includes beaches, boat ramp, boat tours – glass bottom boat tours, sailing and snorkeling tours, and scuba diving tours, boating, campfire circle, canoeing, concessions, fishing, nature trails, picnicking, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, youth camping, and a visitor’s center with a 30,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. Jolly Roger Travel Park

Jolly Roger Travel Park is on US 1 at mile marker 59 about 59 miles north of Key West, Florida. It has a total of 200 spaces for rent with 118 RV sites and 20 tent sites. Amenities include a few shaded sites, back-ins, modem hu/office, CATV, restrooms, showers, laundry, tables, water access, ice and public telephone. The sites include 75 grass, 75 dirt, 13 pull-thrus, and 150 full hook-ups. Recreational activities include horseshoes, swimming, snorkeling, shuffleboard, fishing, boat dock and ramp. Key Largo Kampground

Key Largo Kampground can be found by following Florida Turnpike south to US 1, turning onto Oceanside and then taking a left of Samson Road. This campground offers a total of 171 spaces for tents and RV’s, 35 tent sites and 58 RV sites. They also offer cabins and trailers for rent. Facilities available include dump station, beach, paved pads, tables, patios, pay phone, cable TV hookups, water access, boat ramp, groceries, laundry, ice, picnic shelter, showers, restrooms, and campfires are permitted. Pets are also permitted on a leash. Some of the recreation available includes volleyball, shuffleboard, playground, horseshoes, fishing, and a swimming pool.

Key RV Park

Key RV Park is located on Ocean Side between mile markers 50 and 51 in Marathon, Florida.

This park only allows RV’s and has 80 sites available. It does offer ocean access, telephone hook-ups, flush toilets, cable TV hook-ups, boat ramp, dock, recreational room, coin laundry, and a picnic shelter. KOA Fiesta Key

KOA Fiesta Key is a private island resort on Long Key with sites available for RV’s and tents, 20 motel rooms, cabins, and trailers. They offer 268 paved sites, 37 tent sites, 127 pull-thrus, gasoline, propane, a dump station, Cable TV hookups, group facilities, laundry facilities, heated pool and hot tub. KOA Sugarloaf Key is located in Sugarloaf Key, Florida only 20 miles from Key West. Knight Key Campground has 183 sites with 13 of them tent sites and is located at mile marker 47 in Marathon, Florida. They offer a few shaded sites, back-ins, modem hu/office, restrooms and showers, dump station, public telephone, laundry, and food service. Lion's Lair Travel Park

Lion’s Lair Travel Park is on US 1 at mile marker 59 in Marathon, Florida. Reservations are required. They offer 65 RV sites, tent sites, 5 other rental units, a few handicap facilities, dump station, boat ramp, swimming pool, laundry facilities, Cable TV hookups, water access, and a recreation hall.
